Magnums are the finest expression of champagne, and brut non-vintage is the most important cuvée to declare the signature of each house style.

Join us as we line up six big bottles back-to-back and get under the surface of six of champagne’s top houses to discover what makes each of their unique styles so special.

You’re invited to join me for my champagne masterclass of the year – The Stars of 2020!

Showcasing the top ten releases of 2020, featuring a special pre-release shipment of one of the most anticipated releases of the decade, five brand new vintage arrivals, and an all-new cuvée – including six from the stellar 2008 harvest!

This is the one and only opportunity of the year to discover all the latest, greatest and most interesting champagne releases – at a time when we’re all missing the discoveries of travels and tastings!

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2008 is the finest release of this legendary cuvée since at least 1996, and we have arranged a special pre-release shipment direct from the crayères of the house. Join us to be the first in Australia to taste it!

Krug Grande Cuvée Edition 168 NV is the much-lauded blend based on the great 2012 season, due to land on our shores just in time for our masterclass. We’ll put it back-to-back with champagne’s finest non-vintage grower cuvée, the sublime Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes NV, also from the recently arrived 2012 base vintage.

Also landing is the extremely limited and highly anticipated 2008 vintage from the beloved houses of Billecart-Salmon and Charles Heidsieck.

The 2008 theme will continue with two of the greatest grower blanc de blancs, Pierre Gimonnet Special Club Cuvée Millesime de Collection Blanc de Blancs 2008 en magnum and Franck Bonville Collection Privée 2008.

We will put these up against one of the most fabled 2008s of all: Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill.

Meanwhile, Bollinger is launching its first new release in 12 years in its monumental blanc de noirs, PN VZ15! And Louis Roederer has reimagined its Philippe Starck Brut Nature into an exceedingly rare Rosé for the first time in 2012.
