I am very proud to announce my new Events Manager, Tyler Austin.

I first met Tyler while I was emceeing a wedding at Sirromet Winery in March 2016, where she had worked as Event Supervisor since 2013. I was immediately impressed with her polished professionalism, hard-working dedication and graceful service. I encouraged her to seek a position at Stokehouse Q, and was pleased to recommend her for the role of Assistant Sommelier in September 2016.

I have since worked with Tyler creating many dinners and tastings at Stokehouse Q. Her fanatical attention to detail and wide-eyed enthusiasm for the great wines of the world are an inspiration.

In August 2018 Tyler was recognised as Australia’s finest young hospitality talent when she was awarded the prestigious accolade of Australian Young Waiter of the Year.

I am very much looking forward to working with Tyler as my new Events Manager from 1 January 2019.
